PLATES & COVERS
There are several different plates and covers on a machine. The Needle Plate is the one with a hole in it for the needle to pass through. The Bobbin Plate, or plates, are the ones you slide or lift to insert the bobbin. The Face Plate is the vertical plate on the left hand end of the machine that covers the workings there. The Back Plate is, predictably, at the back of the machine and covers the workings there! They come in many different shapes and sizes dependent on machine type and age. If you need to identify which plate your machine needs, please ask, I will try to help you find what you need. If there is more than one of a plate in stock, I will send out the best quality one I have.
