Repairs and Servicing
We service and repair all vintage and old domestic sewing machines. We can do mechanical repairs to modern machines too, but if your machine is computerised and has a fault with this, we can’t fix it here. However, we can probably help you find someone that can. Servicing
Your machine will love you dearly and give you many years of loyal service if it is serviced regularly. The interval between services depends on the level of use but annually is a good place to start.
Prices start at £35 plus parts for a hand crank or treadle head machine, depending on the amount of work required. A machine that’s just been liberated from the loft/shed after 50 years, may need more work than one used regularly! If you have a machine you would like rescuing from a damp, dusty demise, I would love to discuss what can be done and give you a quote.

Repairs
If your machine is playing up, often a good service will sort the issue out, however, sometimes repairs are required. We can investigate the issue and give you a quote to repair it. Please call or email and we can discuss the problem and what may be causing it.
